Project Management Section　

 

This section is responsible for:　

managing the project approval, funding, medium term management as well as checking and accepting of scientific research projects of the following organizations: Ministry of Science and Technology, National Science Foundation, Ministry of Education, Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Commission, other ministries of Tianjin Municipal, independent innovation funds (Basal Research Fund), and horizontal scientific research items;　

the review, registration and tax-free filing of technical contracts;　

the daily management of scientific research projects as well as the tracking, checking and supervision of the projects;　

the assessment of the title, master/ doctoral tutor assessment and the review of open funds used for the application of large instruments;　

the review of scientific research funds that are applied in going abroad, foreign exchange, processing tests and meetings;　

the counting of scientific research projects and funds;　

the collection and transfer of scientific and technical archive materials;　

the investigation of the national science and technology project;　

the construction of information-based scientific research.

This section is responsible for:　

the management of finances, personnel, foreign affairs, assets and files;　

the review of documents and reports, the organization of research and information exchange, and the implementation of news propaganda;　

the organization of party affairs and meetings;

This section is responsible for:　

assisting in the formulation and implementation of Tianjin University’s science and technology programs and policies;

the organization of and application of international scientific and technological cooperation projects;　

the contact and communication with counterparts that are in charge of science and technology;　

the preliminary research, layout, planning and organization of major programs of the counterparts;　

understanding, collecting, and promoting national scientific and technological policies and information;

the construction and service of Tianjin University’s cross disciplinary platform;　

understanding, collecting and promoting the national science and technology policy and information; the contact and communication with the scientific and technical personnel, the dean of research and scientific research secretary;

the organization of exchange activities like science and technology meetings as well as achievement exhibitions that target enterprises;　

organizing the bidding and tendering works for major programs;　

the intercollegiate scientific research cooperation.

This section is responsible for:　

the construction and implementation of an advanced industrial quality management system and related works such as annual inspection and production coordination;　

the authentication, maintenance and annual inspection of advanced industrial scientific research and production certificates;　

cooperating with the confidentiality office to protect the confidentiality of advanced industry;　

the coordination, organization and management of defense-related science and technology;　

the innovation platform, base construction and management of defense-related science and technology;　

organizing, applying for and managing the innovation team of defense-related science and technology;　

the cultivation and introduction of talent in defense-related science and technology;　

the construction and development of Advanced Industrial Technology and Equipment Institute of Tianjin University;　

cooperating with superior departments like the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, China PLA Equipment Bureau, Education Bureau, Provincial National Defense and Science Technology Industry Office;
